| The Jenkins Inn is taking measures against the bed bug epidemic that is happening in the travel industry today. We have attended a bed bug workshop specifically designed for Innkeepers to implement guidelines for room inspections to ensure a safe, clean bed bug free enviroment as well as encasing each box spring and each mattress with a bed bug proof zippered encasement that are also dust mite proof, allergy proof and latex free. While the possibility exists that any guest can be a transporter and introduce a bed bug or bed bugs to wherever they travel, the pro-active measures that we are implementing, are a strong indication that we are sincere and determined to make our guests' stay be a very enjoyable and carefree experience.
